Yosef Shishler Attorneys is a boutique law firm specialising in DIVORCE, MEDIATION, FAMILY LAW & LITIGATION and is headed up by Attorney Yosef Shishler. Yosef (“Yossi”) commenced his articles with Charles Mendelow in 2004, whilst simultaneously studying his LLB degree though UNISA, in a bid to gain valuable practical knowledge and experience. Yossi was trained and mentored by family law expert, Charles Mendelow. He completed his LLB degree in 2008 and was admitted as an attorney in 2009 with rights of appearance in the High Court. Yosef was made a partner at Charles Mendelow & Associates from 2011 until the end of 2016, whereafter he ventured on his own to start Yosef Shishler Attorneys

Yossi is a trained and accredited mediator, having completed his mediation training at the Family Life centre Johannesburg in 2010, and having mediated many family law disputes. He has attended numerous courses and has conducted countless mediations in every area of family law He has further completed his collaborative law training and offers services in collaborative divorce.

Yossi is a multi-talented, life experienced attorney with wide interests. Yossi volunteers as a police reservist for the South African Police Service, as well as a paramedic for a community-run ambulance service.

We adopt an individual approach to handling cases and in the high conflict cases where human solutions are not possible, we have an effective and speedy litigation department.
